What's Happening?

If you’re unable to right-click, copy text, drag images, or use keyboard shortcuts like Ctrl+C on your website, don’t worry — your site is working exactly as intended. This is a content protection feature that has been enabled on your website to safeguard your content and images from unauthorised copying or downloading.

What Is Content Protection?

Content protection is a security feature designed to prevent visitors from copying or reproducing your website content, including text, images, and source code. When enabled, the following actions are restricted for visitors on the public-facing side of your website:

This helps protect your intellectual property, original photography, written content, and overall website design from being easily replicated.

How to Regain Access

The content protection feature only applies to logged-out visitors — meaning the general public browsing your website. When you are signed into your WordPress admin (CMS), these restrictions are lifted and you can interact with your site normally.

If you are experiencing these restrictions while trying to work on your own site, it is likely because you are not currently logged in. To resolve this:

  1. Navigate to your website’s login page and sign in with your admin credentials
  2. Once logged in, return to the page you were trying to use — right-click, copy, and all other functions should now work as normal
