Create a Dedicated Landing Page

Every open day or webinar should have its own page with all the details: date, time, format (in-person/virtual), what to expect, and a clear registration form. Link to it from your homepage banner and main navigation.

Add a Registration Form

Embed a form directly on the event page. Keep it short β€” Name, Email, Phone, Child’s Year Group is usually enough. Set up an automated confirmation email so registrants know their booking is received.

Promote Across Your Site

Add a prominent banner or pop-up on your homepage linking to the event. Include it in your website’s main navigation during the registration period. Add a blog post about the event to help with SEO.

πŸ“± Social Media

Share the event page URL on all social channels. Create a countdown. Post behind-the-scenes preparation content. After the event, share highlights and testimonials.

Follow Up

After the event, email all registrants with a thank you, key takeaways, and a clear next step (book a private tour, start an application, etc.). Update the event page to say ‘This event has passed’ with a link to the next one.
