Setting Up Facebook Pixel

Create a Pixel

Go to Facebook Business Manager → Events Manager. Click ‘Connect Data Sources’ and select ‘Web’. Choose ‘Facebook Pixel’ and give it a name (e.g. your school name). Copy the Pixel ID.

Add to Your Site

The easiest way is through Google Tag Manager (if you have it). Create a new tag, select ‘Custom HTML’, and paste the Facebook Pixel base code. Set the trigger to ‘All Pages’. Alternatively, use the PixelYourSite plugin — install it and paste your Pixel ID in the settings.

Verify Installation

Install the Meta Pixel Helper Chrome extension. Visit your website — the extension icon should turn green and show your Pixel firing. You can also check Events Manager in Facebook for incoming events.
