Blurry images are caused by uploading an image too small for the space it fills. WordPress stretches it to fit — and it looks fuzzy.

Stretched images happen when the aspect ratio doesn’t match the container. Crop to match the expected ratio before uploading.

How to Fix It

Solutions by cause:

• Too small — Replace with a higher resolution version
• Wrong ratio — Crop before uploading using Canva or Squoosh
• Over-compressed — Re-export at 80% quality
• Wrong format — Use PNG for screenshots and graphics with text
