How to Edit a Link in Your Website Footer

Step 0 of 3 completed
1
Check for a dedicated Footer Menu

Go to Appearance → Menus and see if a “Footer Menu” (or similar) is listed in the dropdown at the top. If it is, you can remove or edit the item yourself — click the arrow on the item, make your change, and click Save Menu.

2
Check Settings → General → Footer Options

Some footer links (e.g. social media icons) live here instead of in a menu — check Settings → General → Footer Options for these.

3
Still can't edit it?

Footer content is often part of your site’s design template, so it won’t always appear in either place above. If you’ve checked both and still can’t find the link, raise a ticket with support@innermedia.co.uk and let us know which link and where it appears — we’ll update it for you.
